Marathon swimming Preko - Zadar: an annual event.

Each year, the marathon swimming takes place on the same route. The swimmers gather in Preko on the island Ugljan and rush to the coast to Zadar. Accompanied by the boats, swimmers of all ages take up the challenge, solo, group or even family. The best ones cover the distance in less than an hour, some finish the courseby boat but all give themselves the best to reach the finish line.
Swimmers are categorized according to their age, man or woman and the marathon is open to all Croatian and foreigners, simply register a few days before.
