6th Lavander Festival on Hvar island June 2014


The village of Velo Grablje hosts this annual festival. On a hill a few kilometers from the town of Hvar, Velo Grablje is a former village in the magnificent view of the sea and Pakleni islands almost deserted village surrounded by fields of lavender, rosemary and other herbs, it has the one of the oldest distilleries on the island for the extraction of essential oils.

The festival revolves around a series of economic and tourist events cultural, educational, which are part of the preservation of the natural heritage of the region. Picking lavender, workshops, food, art exhibitions, concerts, poetry, presentation of distillation and tasting of local products.
