The magic of Christmas takes hold in a warm and friendly atmosphere, to the delight of locals and tourists.
Garlands light up the streets, the decorated wooden chalets of the Christmas markets house specialty stands to delight young and old, artisanal products or other local specialties, various activities and events are offered to visitors.
Each place has its specificities, including these Advent examples among the most remarkable:
- VARAZDIN: grandiose, one of the most magical in Croatia.
Santa's house has become his symbol, an enchanted world where Santa has prepared treats, creative workshops, magical stories...to welcome his visitors.
We also meet the elf helpers and the Grinch.
An area of 400 m2 where you can wander through this world of magic and which houses a workshop, cake stands, a boutique, a souvenir photo stand.
A panoramic Ferris wheel, an ice rink, beautifully decorated streets and more than 110 programs of all kinds contribute to the reputation of the warmest Advent in Croatia.
- TROGIR: this year one of the most beautiful in Dalmatia.
A wonderland of lights in an open-air museum city. New decorations galore throughout the city center to enhance its natural beauty.
40 events are offered over 36 days, numerous concerts, activities for children, entertainment throughout the day.
In short, Trogir, an Advent in light!
A collection of 25 themed Christmas markets across the city that delight visitors. From the most classic market highlighting crafts, local products, regional cuisine...to the most 'trendy' with DJs, street food, live music concerts or even the retro market from the 50s, there has something for everyone.
And of course the city decorations, the ice rink, the various activities and shows...
