March 7 th 2020, island of Pasman: the largest trekking race in Croatia
Trekking is a discipline that is part of extreme sports.The route on the island of Pasman starts from Tkon and crosses a rocky steep environment, with magnificent views of the Zadar archipelago and the Kornati, highlighting the natural wealth of the region.
The participants, men and women, are divided into 4 categories:
- ultra 45 kms
- challenger 25 kms
- active 12 kms
- light 6 kms
they complete the route using a map which takes them to the various chek points.
The 1st edition in 2006 had 152 registrants, 103 present on the starting line and 33 riders at the finish.
In 2020 more than 1,500 participants are expected, including professional athletes.
The event ends with a big party during which the awards are presented, a convivial moment much appreciated.
In recognition of the quality of the project, skraping has obtained the label 'Croatian Island Product'
