Welcome to the Way of Saint James... in Korcula.

A group of Croatian amateurs united within the Saint Jacques brotherhood initiated the restoration of the medieval Camino routes across Croatia.
Since the year 1203, Croatian pilgrims have traveled the path leading to the sanctuary of Santiago de Compostela.
The Camino on the island of Korcula is 158 km long and crosses the island and its magnificent landscapes of sea, forests, olive groves, vineyards... with passages in sacred places, chapels and churches.
Pilgrims have 14 stamps to collect on their passport to validate their pilgrimage.
Like any pilgrimage, it represents a moment of shared discoveries, of gathering and spiritual encounters, of conviviality.
This path completes those already existing in Croatia, to be covered over a weekend, a week or more depending on the distance and easily accessible to novices:Camino BANOVINA (87 kms), Camino Brac (158 kms), Camino GORSKI KOTAR (282 kms), Camino IMOTA (75 kms), Camino KRK (150 kms), Camino PODRAVINA (160 kms), Camino SIBENIK (106 kms).
New opening planned for 2024: Camino DUBROVNIK - MEDJUGORJE.
The Brotherhood of Saint James is organizing a gathering from March 15 to 17, 2024 on the Camino de KORCULA, a weekend of spiritual nourishment with blessings and masses, discovering the rich local heritage.
