- ferry from Split to Supetar (north) in 50 minutes and Makarska to Sumartin (east) in 1 hour.
- catamarans (pedestrians only) from Split to Milna (west) and Bol (south) and from Bol to Jelsa, north side of the island of Hvar.

A green island in the varied geography of beaches renowned for their beauty, such as the famous Zlatni Rat in Bol, ranked remarkable natural site, the highest mountain in the Adriatic islands - Vidova Gora - which offers a magnificent view and attracts lovers of free flight, and a rich fauna and flora.
An island that is home to coastal villages all around, including Bol, the oldest of the island as well as villages within very interesting discovery, as Nerezisca, Selca, Puscica and stonemasons ... These ancient villages the hinterland keep the character and pace of the old life, authentic villages scented maquis.
Since ancient times, Brac turned to agriculture, fisheries and livestock; we find olive groves and vineyards, the shepherds raise goats and sheep and traditions persist. Archaeological sites and monuments bear witness to the rich history of the island since ancient times: the monasteries and convents, elegant church steeples, buildings Renaissance and Baroque museums.
Brac is known worldwide for its many open pits that give the famous expensive white stone sculptors and used all over the world, one example being the White House in Washington. There is still a school of sculpture known.
